What’s going on at QPR?

Gary Jacob in The Times is reporting that Iain Dowie is on the verge of leaving QPR after just three months in the job – because of an argument with Flavio Briatore over the “proposed transfer of an unknown striker from the Middle East”.

Apparently Briatore is understood to have told Dowie he would be sacked, but didn’t formalise the decision and it wasn’t clear whether or not Dowie would turn up this morning.

Does anyone know what’s going on? All seems very strange to me…

  2. Its the same thing that happened at leicester with Martin Allen and Milan. The owners/chairman put millions in, and think that gives them the right to manage the team as well. Dowie, rightly so, does not want anyone else, doing his job.

  3. i don’t dowie should be sacked because he is a good manger and every QPR fan likes him and braiatore should just rise above it and have a clean slate if braiatore whats this player then he should just get him he shouldn’t sack dowie over a petty argument if he want’s this player why don’t he be a grown up and sign him
