Week in Review: Featuring Ronaldo/Manchester United, 2008/09 fixtures, QPR/Blackpool, Southampton, Euro 2008, and more…

We haven’t had a weekly round-up for a little while, so here’s what’s been going on at City ‘Til I Die this week:

Monday 16th June 2008: Thomas Rooney gave his take on the Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid affair, and we had a quick peek at the coming season’s fixtures.

Tuesday 17th June 2008: Sammy Clingan signs for the Canaries, Blackpool report QPR to the FA for an alleged illegal approach for Kaspars Gorkss and we looked at the predicament down at Southampton.

Wednesday 18th June 2008: On Wednesday we had a closer look at the new home kit, and laughed at the French Euro 2008 coach driver.

Thursday 19th June 2008: On Thursday it was revealed that we had stolen a march on Ipswich in the race for Shola Ameobi’s signature, and then that we hadn’t at all. The first Derby Day video of the season appeared on YouTube and City supporter Kris Griffin asked for everyone’s support.

Friday 20th June 2008: Shola Ameobi was linked with West Brom on Friday, and Thomas Rooney discussed the latest situation with regards to Simon Lappin’s future.

Saturday 21st June 2008: Martin Paterson was heavily linked with Burnley, and I remembered a classic Liverpool kit.

Sunday 22nd June 2008: We wrapped up the week with more details on the Paterson to Burnley transfer (which looks likely to be completed in the coming days), kicked-off the first annual NCFC on the Web awards, and celebrated reaching 100,000 hits. Hoorah.
