Peterborough to sell Joe Lewis to Everton for £3m according to reports

In today’s Sun:

EVERTON are lining up a move for England new-boy Joe Lewis.

The £3million-rated Peterborough keeper was on the bench for England’s 3-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday.

Goodison boss David Moyes believes Lewis, 20, has massive potential while Liverpool and Manchester United had him watched last season.

He was signed from Norwich for just £400,000 in January and although Posh want to keep him, they will not be able to turn down a big bid.

Where’d £3m come from? I hope that sell-on clause was massive, otherwise we could be made to look pretty silly…

  2. I said at the time it was very previous to let the lad go. He was a Norwich fan and would have given everything to the club. It’s a shame we will (more than likely) never see him in a Norwich shirt.
