Ronaldinho – how’s he for a new “hero” Glenn?

Barcelona president Juan Laporta appears to have opened the door for Ronaldinho to leave the Nou Camp.

Could he be the new hero Saint Glenn has been talking about? He’s certainly got all the attributes needed to be a new Canary hero, and if that’s not all:

– He can play on the left wing in the “Huckerby” role.

– With the proper training he could one day be almost as potent an attacking weapon as Mark Rivers was.

– He looks good in yellow and green.

(Before I receive 1,500 abusive comments and emails I know we won’t be signing Ronaldinho, but we’ve been linked with pretty much everyone else who has been made available so I thought I’d just take the next logical step, and link us with someone worth actually having. 🙂 )

  1. Is he a ‘Roeder type player’ though? He’s hardly Matty Pattison is he? Ronaldonho wouldn’t give the ball away half as much, so it has to be a no go for Glenn.

Seriously though in terms of this summer, it is going to be such an important time for the club. The close season isn’t exactly that long and there is a ridiculous amount of work to do.

I back Glenn all the way, but if we haven’t brought anyone in within the next month – I might start to get a little worried.

  2. Very good point Thomas. Barca have hardly had a good season have they? We need people with a winning mentality, not someone who has gotten used to losing… 🙂
