The Week in Review: 28th April – 4th May 2008

Monday 28th April 2008. On Monday I explained why all Canaries should have cheered on Southampton against West Brom, and had a final go on the BBC Predictor to make a few predictions.

Tuesday 29th April 2008. On Tuesday I made a couple of (correct for once) predictions on the Champions League semi-finals and kicked off the biggest poll to date: who’s going down now?

Wednesday 30th April 2008. Wednesday was a four-post day. First off I unveiled the greatest TV advert of all time. That was followed up with my reaction to the new City kit (which is growing on my already incidentally), the quote from Glenn Roeder which I think signals the end of Darren Huckerby’s City career and a little laugh at Ronaldo.

Thursday 1st May 2008. On Thursday we looked at how we could thank Dion Dublin, and it was revealed that 67% of voters believed that Leicester were going to be relegated on Sunday.

Friday 2nd May 2008. We wondered if Scunthorpe were trying to talk up the sale of Martin Paterson following some contradictory remarks from Irons boss Nigel Adkins, kicked off the Wednesday v Norwich poll and tried to work out if Chris Lucketti was a big girl’s blouse or not.

Saturday 3rd May 2008. Saturday was another four-post day (guess who wasn’t working). I found myself agreeing with Harry Redknapp which doesn’t happen that often, I previewed the Sheffield Wednesday game, revealed that 71% of voters thought we’d get beaten by the Owls and admired Carlos Tevez.

Sunday 4th May 2008. On Sunday it broke that QPR want Zinedine Zidane as their new boss to usher in “a new era”, only for this new era to be a new badge. Glenn Roeder was named the sixth worst manager by a chap from the Guardian, we congratulated West Brom and Stoke, and waved goodbye to Leicester.
