City can win “ugly”. Two hard-fought 1-0 wins in a week has moved the Canaries up to the dizzy heights of 13th in the Championship. They weren’t pretty, but at this stage I don’t care!
The Yellows are now nearer the play-offs than the relegation places. Dare we dream? Well no, not yet to be honest. But it’s still nice to know that we are now 8 points above the relegation zone and 7 points below the play-offs.
Ipswich can win away. Our friends from down the road finally managed to win an away game and did us a favour in the process – beating Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 at Hillsborough.
Somebody at ITV doesn’t like us. We’re used to being one of the last games shown on the Championship but this week I made it 10 seconds of action shown from yesterday’s game. Not good.
Darren Huckerby is an absolute legend. Just read this article on Rick Waghorn’s site – and pay particular attention to the money quote. It’s already made it onto my Quotes of the Week but it gave me goosebumps so it’s worth printing again:
Long after I’m gone, there’ll still be Norwich City. I’m only going to be playing for a couple more years – and then I’ll be watching Norwich City.
