Clark to go?

City assistant manager Lee Clark could be about to make a quick-fire return to the north east according to today’s Guardian.

The paper is reporting that his former Fulham colleague Chris Coleman (who resigned as Real Sociedad manager yesterday) will be new Newcastle boss Kevin Keegan’s assistant, with Clark resuming his previous role of first team coach.

It would be a surprise to see him up sticks so soon after arriving in Norfolk, but it would be an interesting test of where Clark sees his immediate future if his former manager (for whom he made more than 100 appearances for Newcastle) does come calling.
