It has been announced that Uefa are to hand England an extra place in the Uefa Cup next season as we have once again topped the Fair Play League.

The second leg of the Champions League Semi-Finals take place tonight and tomorrow. Both games are delicately poised after the first leg games, and an all-English final in Moscow next month is still on the cards.

The first leg of the Champions League Semi-Finals take place tonight and Wednesday. We’re guaranteed an English side in the final and there’s a real possiblity of an all-English final in Moscow next month.

The Portugese website futebolfinance.com has published their latest financial analysis of footballer’s wages and salaries in Europe for 2007/08.
Not surprisingly players from English clubs make 7 of the top 10, and when you factor in advertising/endorsement deals, then it’s 6 out of the top 10.
