Everyone knows the story of the 1966 World Cup Final, so I’ll just step out of the way and leave you to watch the highlights…

This City kit is included in my run-down of memorable kits solely because it is the first one I really remember “properly”. It was also the strip used immediately prior to the bird-poo kit.

I’m going to keep this brief because I think this kit speaks for itself. Striped shirts and matching shorts. That’s right people, it’s the Tesco Value kit.
This kit is quite possibly one of the worst of all time - and that’s coming from someone who supports the team who once wore this.

The 1990 World Cup in Italy was the first one that I remember properly, as I would have only been 9 and a half at the time.
It’s also pretty much the first England kit that I can remember as well, and reminds me of a happier time - when England were actually good!
