I’m not one of those people that are “too cool” to get excited about Christmas or to celebrate it. Fact is, I bloody love Christmas, and not just because my birthday is at the same time (22nd, since you asked).
It’s the one time of year when people are nice to each other for no apparent reason, you get to spend time with your family and people you love, and there’s loads of great football and films on the telly. And this year maybe, just maybe, I’ll get to watch some of them.
The AFC Wimbledon/Oxford Brum/West Ham games on Boxing Day should be pretty entertaining but I’ll be avoiding the Stoke City RFC v Villa game like the plague. Then it’s the main event on Monday night as the Canaries take on Spurs at Carrow Road.
