QPR have signed out of contact Newcastle defender Peter Ramage, and Slavia Prague goalkeeper Radek Cerny (who was on loan at Spurs).
On Saturday Ramage was on my shopping list of 10 for next season, so that’s down to nine almost immediately.
When you flick through the Rangers squad – which already includes players like Damion Stewart, Fitz Hall, Dexter Blackstock, Akos Buzsaky, Patrick Agyemang and Rowan Vine – it becomes pretty clear pretty quickly that there’s a good chance they’re going to be a force next season.
I still think that new badge is rubbish though.

They are Champions elect. They have to be. Their squad is going to be full of quality. It won’t be easy though. The Championship never is as we all know. Anyone is capable of mounting a challenge – even a Huckless NCFC.
I do love that badge and as for being a force, nice of you to say but I don’t think any Rangers fan is holding their breath on that one.We don’t even have a manager yet.
coming from a spurs fan, cerny is a quality keeper. his distribution isn’t great, but he’s easily good enough for most premiership sides. good luck to qpr next season!!

Yeah I agree. Im a Rangers fan too and the badge is more suited to the Regents Park rose garden than a football club!
With Dowie in charge my heart dropped. i was hoping for another european. It looks like hoofball and physical presence will be the name of the game. Very disappointed.
the badge is alright, didn’t see the need to change it but it grows on you.

Just a slight modification to the badge would improve matters. The straight lines inthe centre do not match the surround. A slight downward curve on the

Would balance it up with the ‘Loftus Road …’ but it need not be quite as curved as that bottom wording.
As to the new squad signings. A lot of thought has gone into where improvements can be made to the team. Pity that cant be said for the badge.
