Canary Classics: Norwich City 2 Manchester United 0, 9th April 2005

14 04 2008

As I’m still very much sulking over my Sunday League semi-final defeat and the Canaries’ subsequent no-show in the derby, it seemed a very good time to dust off YouTube and have another edition of Canary Classics.

In this edition we go back to the 2004/2005 Premiership season as goals from Dean Ashton and Leon McKenzie gave the Yellows a 2-0 win over Manchester United at Carrow Road.

Remember you can suggest a game to be covered either by leaving a comment or by sending an email to canaryblog AT googlemail DOT com.

WorriedTrying to predict the outcome of the Coca-Cola Championship is getting harder and harder by the week, but I’ve had a go anyway. Here’s where I am at the moment:

  1. Stoke (81pts)
  2. West Brom (80pts)
  3. Watford (78pts)
  4. Wolves (77pts)
  5. Bristol City (77pts)
  6. Hull (74pts)
  7. Charlton (70pts)
  8. Ipswich (68pts)
  9. Cardiff (67pts)
  10. Plymouth (66pts)
  11. Crystal Palace (66pts)
  12. Sheff Utd (61pts)
  13. Burnley (60pts)
  14. Norwich (56pts)
  15. Barnsley (56pts)
  16. Southampton (56pts)
  17. Preston (55pts)
  18. QPR (55pts)
  19. Sheff Wed (54pts)
  20. Blackpool (50pts)
  21. Coventry (50pts)
  22. Leicester (49pts)
  23. Scunthorpe (40pts)
  24. Colchester (39pts)

I still think Leicester are in trouble and according to this we’ll finish 14th, which is nice.
