No collection of classic Norwich City matches would be complete without the inclusion of arguably the club’s most famous game of all time.
When it took place I was 13 years old and (don’t tell anyone) a Luton Town season ticket holder, so had the pleasure of watching as a neatrual (well, as neautral as a young English boy can be when watching an English team take on a German side).
Apart from the obvious, my main memory of the game was Gunny’s gloves. As a ‘keeper I always paid particular attention to the gloves that were worn, and I really wanted the ones Gunny was wearing. Uhlsport ones they were.
