The club have called a press conference for 3pm this afternoon and are expected to announce the loan capture of Blackburn Rovers striker Maceo Rigters.
The 24-year old Dutchman turned down a more to City in the summer to join Rovers, but after only making three appearances this season is said to be keen to pick up some experience elsewhere.
And here’s the good bit: Rigters finished as top goalscorer in last summer’s European U21 Championships, so he would seem to know where the goal is - and boy do we need someone like that right now…
