Sunderland have told midfielder Liam Miller that he can leave the club.

Miller started his career at Celtic, and joined Manchester United on a Bosman deal in 2004. After making just nine appearances for the Red Devils, Miller was loaned to Leeds in the 2005/2006 season, where he played twenty-eight times, scoring once.

On the day Roger Munby announced that the board will back Roeder in the transfer market this summer, what better place to start than with the 27 year-old Republic of Ireland international?
