From today’s Sun newspaper…
A SOCCER star told a court he could not pay a motoring fine on the spot – because his MUM looks after all his cash.
Ipswich Town striker Danny Haynes, 20, admitted two charges of driving without a licence.
But his lawyer told JPs he would pay the £1,350 fine within seven days as his mum had his wages.
The ex-England under-19 star, who earns thousands a week, was caught twice with no licence driving his black Mercedes 200 in Ipswich, Suffolk.
His licence had been revoked after he got six points as a new driver, for speeding and jumping a red light.
Ipswich JPs also gave him an eight month ban.
You really couldn’t make that up could you?
