Sometimes rivalries can be put aside, even for just one minute. Manchester City fans impeccably observed the minute’s silence at Old Trafford on Sunday – no doubt much to the disappointment of the media who would have loved a nice “supporters ruin Munich memorial” story.
The Premier League no longer represents English football. Read this for more.
That’s pretty much about it, but I have to say it’s been a brilliant footballing weekend for me personally. Norwich win away to go into the top half of the table for the first time in donkeys (albeit only for a couple of hours, but we’ll be there again by Wednesday morning), Ipswich lose at home and my Sunday league team won our quarter-final match this morning 13-0 against a team from a higher division.
Happy days people, happy days.
