According to today’s papers, as England players assembled in the team hotel in Watford yesterday they were confronted by a notice board as part of a crackdown on “PlayStation culture” telling them:-

Lateness will not be tolerated.

Room service is banned.

Mobiles can only be used in bedrooms.
Players must eat together in smart dress and must wear team [...]

African Cup of Nations Update

With all the excitement surrounding Norwich the last week I almost forgot about the African Cup of Nations in Ghana.
My adopted country the Ivory Coast have cruised into the semi-finals, where “we” will play defending champions Egypt in a repeat of the 2006 final that Egypt won on penalties.
