Cup upsets can still happen. Seven clubs (Blackburn, Everton, Birmingham, Bolton, Colchester, Swindon and Brighton) were knocked out and another six (Derby, Fulham, Newcastle, Norwich, Swansea, and Tranmere) held to draws by lower league opposition.

At least we’re in the hat

That’s pretty much the only positive that could be taken from yesterday’s game against Bury.
My word we were lucky today. Missing an open goal after 40 seconds wasn’t exactly the best way to start the game and we created enough chances in the first five minutes alone to put Bury to the sword.
